Privacy

Last updated 5 September 2026

The short version: Find Kairos works by sending what you save to third-party AI services, which read it and pull out the place, recipe or item. You choose whether to allow that, and you can withdraw at any time. We do not sell your data and there is no advertising. This page says exactly who receives what, and why.

Who we are

Find Kairos is run by MES Genesis Co Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17386793, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

For anything on this page — a copy of your data, deletion, a correction, or a complaint — email privacy@getfound.world.

What we collect

Your account. Your email address, and the sign-in codes we send to it. That is the whole account: no name, no phone number, no password.

What you save. The links, posts and images you share into the app, and what we pull out of them — titles, descriptions, places, opening hours, recipes, items, prices. Anything you type yourself: your note on why you saved something, list and plan names, step descriptions, booking references and notes.

Your plans and lists. What you have grouped, scheduled or marked as done, and the bookings you tell us you have made.

Approximate location, if you allow it. Used while the app is open, to show what is near you and to place saves on the map. You can refuse it and the rest of the app still works. We do not track you in the background.

Diagnostics. If the app crashes, we receive a crash report: what went wrong, the device model and the app version.

If you joined the waitlist. Your email address, when you consented, and any optional answers you gave about how you save and where you are.

Choosing AI processing, and changing your mind

The first time it matters, the app asks whether you allow your saved content to be sent to third-party AI services. Nothing is sent until you say yes.

You can withdraw that permission at any time in Settings. It is stored against your account, not your phone, so it applies everywhere you are signed in and to anything running on our servers — there is no path that skips it.

With it off: extraction, place enrichment, taste learning, recommendations, curation and planning are unavailable. The app still stores what you save and lets you organise it by hand, and everything you have already saved stays where it is. The app still opens the link itself to read its title and picture — that is not an AI service, but it is still a request that leaves your phone, so we say so.

Withdrawing stops future processing. It does not delete what has already been worked out — if you want that gone, delete the save or your account.

Who else receives your data

This is the complete list. Each of these is a processor acting on our instructions, not a company we sell anything to.

WhoWhat they receiveWhy
SupabaseEverything you save, your account, your plans and lists. Hosted in the EU (Ireland). Our database, file storage and sign-in.
OpenAIThe text of a page or post you save, and any images attached to it.To read the save and pull out the place, recipe or item, and to power search.
AnthropicThe same text, and only if the main provider is unavailable.A fallback so a save still works during an outage.
Google (Gemini)The audio and video of a post you save, when the caption alone is not enough. To transcribe and describe what the video actually shows.
Google (Places)The name and rough area of a place you save.To find its address, opening hours and a photo.
tikwm, RapidAPI (and Apify, where configured)The public link you shared. To fetch that post's own caption and images, which the platforms do not otherwise hand over.
SerpAPIThe name of a product you saved. To find where it can be bought. Only runs for shopping-type saves.
SentryCrash diagnostics, including the app version and device model. To find and fix crashes.
AppleYour device's push token, if you turn notifications on.To deliver a reminder you asked for.

We do not sell, rent or trade your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. There is no advertising in the app and none planned. If that ever changes it changes with notice and with a way out, not quietly.

Where it goes. Our database and file storage are in the EU. Some of our service providers may process personal data outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we use appropriate safeguards required by UK data protection law, such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual protections, where applicable.

How your data is protected

Your saves are readable only by you: every table enforces that at the database level, not just in the app. Images and videos we store on your behalf sit in private storage and are served through short-lived signed links, so a copied URL stops working. Sign-in is by a one-time code sent to your email; we never store a password.

How long we keep it

Your saves, plans and lists stay until you delete them or delete your account. Crash diagnostics are kept by Sentry on their standard retention. Waitlist entries are kept until you ask us to remove them or the beta ends.

Deleting your account removes your account and the data attached to it — saves, lists, plans, bookings, stored images and your AI-processing choice. It is in Settings, it takes effect immediately, and it cannot be undone.

What we rely on to do this

We process what you save in order to provide the service you asked us for — without it there is no product. We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the app working and secure for crash diagnostics, and on your consent for the waitlist emails and for notifications. The AI-processing permission described above is a control we give you over the whole category, whatever the underlying basis for a given step.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable form. Email privacy@getfound.world and a real person reads it. We reply within a month and usually much sooner, and we do not ask you for a reason.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first so we can fix it.

Children

Find Kairos is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change what we do with your data in a way that matters, we will update this page and ask you again inside the app before the new processing starts. The date at the top is when this version took effect.
